SGS hosts bi-weekly seminars focused on different aspects of academic and professional development in or related to the field of Statistics (i.e., professional websites, R Shiny, practice job talks, etc.). We encourage students to present at seminars as practice for future professional talks or as a chance to develop and share knowledge on a topic of interest. Seminars will also include outside speakers such as faculty from the Statistics Department to present the faculty’s research interests and current projects.
